I would purchase Action Figures if they were of extremely high quality detail (example: McFarlane Toys). I have absolutely no interest in low quality collectables like 90% of the action figures in the world. I think monsters/creatures would be especially great and would be most likely to purchase these. Glad to see all the McFarlane support on the forums.
Plushies, I would have no initial interest in, but if there's something cute enough and well-designed, I might just give in.
Beanies and Caps would be considered but, again, it would depend on the logo used and design implemented.
I would definitely have interest in a t-shirt and hoodie (so long as they come in all sizes). I would be a little disappointed if the t-shirts were just collages or duplicates of the box art covers... I like my t-shirts to be artistically designed as well, not just free advertisement. I like my hoodies simple, however, so just a GW logo would suffice. For both T-shits and Hoodies, I would be interested in Campaign specific designs and articles.
I would be interested in a High-quality Cloth world map (not wallscroll, more like a tapestry) if it was a single world map that included all three continents in the geographical relativity to each other, but have no interest in laminated world maps.
I would consider a coffee mug just for the fun of it.
I have no interest in stickers, posters, or Mouse Pads (mostly because of the EXTREMELY LOW QUALITY AND DESIGN of previous items similar to this that were included in Collector's Editions -- if the qualities and designs were better, I would reconsider). I also have no interest in fad phrases or bad, in-joke humour.
I would like to suggest the following:- embroidered patches (logos, symbols, etc...)
- pins/button sets (skills, logos, professions, symbols, etc...)
- FULL HIGH QUALITY artbook with text on the development/life of GW1 (i.e.: The Art of ODDWORLD INHABITANTS)
- FRAMED AND SIGNED & HIGH-QUALITY prints of some of the best concept art/paintings (selected by the artists, themselves).
- While unrealistic, I also think it would be really neat to be able to order a model version of any of your characters. It could be done, since the options are limited to the character skins in game, it would just be an expensive model. Make them hand-painted, 1/6 scale PVC models and aNet could make a fortune off these.

In order I'd have to say Polo shirt, Pewter Mug/Stein, high-res poster of some of the concept art, and then probably a coffee mug.
Figurines/Plushies I'd probably prod friends to get me though. +1 Votes for Prince Rurik action figure with real Hundred blades action... And the ghostly hero of course :P

At last! At long last! GW Merchandise (maybe)!
Oh, boy! Oh, boy!
What I'd really like is a Gertie Doll, modeled after my necromancer,
but a huge stuffed charr (see previous postings) that growls would be awesome!
Or a raggedy ann-style Gwen!
Or an island guardian pen/plushie/pillowcase/bobblehead. . .
Maybe a dart board with all of the big bad ele bosses on the target. . .
Or, oh my god! An ecto! A squishy, squeezy stress ecto!
Finally one I can afford!
lol--or "Ect-os" cereal. . .
My boyfriend and I need a set of action figures for a Guild Wars
fireplace mantle diorama, so you can go whole hog with that line, too!
I'd also rack up huge consumer points with your apparel,
but it absolutely has to be designed well with regard to color, sizing,
style, graphics, wit, etc.!
Or a Guild Wars themed screensaver set with really clever, funny options!
Or a collectable pin-of-the-month subscription that comes fan club style with a newsletter and maybe a code for a unique weapon or item. . .
I'd also like a siege turtle that blows bubbles out of its cannon--I wanted this feature on my minipet!
lol
My boyfriend suggests Prince Rurik & Shiro underoos. . .
You can get a key with the purchase of the underoos that will allow you to wear them in game as well!

I picked:
Action Figure / Miniature Figure: I usually just pose the doll and let it sit somewhere as a mantle piece. But it would be nice to have some GW characters as figures. I personally would like a nice Eve or Cynn doll to add to my starting collection.
Beanie/Baseball Cap/Hat: I personally need a new hat ... some of the hats I have just seem too plain or worn out.
T-shirt / Polo Shirt: Definitely a shirt! I'd love to see different characters on the shirts. Since I like playing a Ritualist, I'd be happy to see the same Rit that's on the box of Factions on a T-Shirt.
Coffee Mug or Commuter Mug: I have lots of commuter mugs with different stuff on it. It would be nice to have one with a GW character to add to my collection.
Overall, I'm looking forward to some new merchandise. I think it would really spread awareness of the Guild Wars franchise, especially since GW:EN and GW2 will coming out.

From most wanted to least wanted, I would like anything computer (like mouse pads and such), clothes (except hats, becuase i usually don't wear them), posters, plushies/figurines, and skill pins.

Hmmmmm, interesting. I might buy this, but then again, I tend to be very picky when it comes to books...

Yay charr! I'd probably buy anything with a charr on it! Maybe a charr screen saver? Oh, that's another thing! Screen Savers! I'd buy those, although that would probably count in the computer catagory, wouldn't it?

Ohhhh, that would be awsome for GW:EN! Then we could transfer minipets of our GW1 characters to GW2! I'd pay for that!
/offtopic
Hmmmm, is that going to be how the monument thing in GW:EN works? For example, if we have a warrior with FOW armor and a firey dragon sword in GW1, would the monument give us a minipet warrior with FOW armor and a firey dragon sword in GW2? But then what if that warrior has multiple armor sets? Do we get multiple warrior minipets?
/back on topic
On second thought, even though I didn't vote for it, I might buy some mini figurines of certain GW things. For instance, it might be a little hard to make a kunivang plushie that doesn't fall over every 3 seconds...but making a figure of a kunivang would fix that problem!

I wouldn't mind a collector T shirt with GW logo in the front, and a big picture of the skill Mending in the back.

A Nerf Bat. With the GW logo on it in big fat letters.
That's all free market research Gaile gets from me I'm afraid.

Has anyone said...
A giant ANet Branded Nerf Bat (with a squished mesmer on it)
I'll bet that would sell in the millions, or a couple hundred... but probably millions!
And the pins... I like that, or real working kids toys (like an electric moving bob the giant scorpion from the quest in propheicies) so I can have the crap but give it to my kids as way to justify buying it.
Whatever, I'd like to see a couple high end, useful, items other than the cheap crap (hats, shirts, toys, etc.) everyone always sells to make money. I won't say what, be creative and unique.

I would buy a hat as my first priority HOWEVER IF by buying one of those items I could equip my characters in game with them (baseball hat, T-shirt, etc.) I would probably buy all of it
Also if I was able to buy the merchandise with my choice of skill icon on it, I would probably buy alot of different things as well. A Simple Hat with a Skill Icon of my choice on it would be really cool.

How about a customized poster of your character... being able to choose the armor set... dye... face... hair... etc... to make it look exactly like your character. I know that it is way too involved, but I'd pay $20 for something like.
Otherwise... a high quality cloth/tapestry of the campaign maps, because the one that I have from Baldur's Gate is cool and I'd love to have one for Guild Wars.
